We are now looking for an experienced electrician for our service department in Lidköping to meet increased demand – could it be you we are looking for?

Lidan Marine manufactures customized winch and handling systems, primarily for marine applications for ships and platforms. These can be for ramp handling or launching and retrieval of underwater vehicles, among others. We also manufacture land-based equipment, such as lifting devices for dam gates at hydropower plants. The systems can be hydraulically and/or electrically driven with PLC-based control and monitoring systems.

About the role

As a service electrician with us, you will have a broad field of work with varying tasks. You will, among other things:

• Perform maintenance and service assignments on our delivered systems and facilities.
• Conduct troubleshooting and create action proposals.
• Participate in modification investigations, carry out modifications, and perform system verifications.
• Carry out new installations and commissioning on-site.

You will be part of the service team that has good electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical competence. Within Lidan Marine, there is also access to specialized competencies in the various disciplines if needed. In the department, we also have a maintenance coordinator with whom you will plan the various assignments.

The assignments are both preventive and corrective, requiring problem-solving and intervention measures. In most cases, the assignments are at the customer's site, where we have many Swedish customers but also many abroad. It may also involve being available as support at the home office for our other traveling service colleagues.
In installation assignments of newly manufactured equipment, planning occurs within the main project in which you will participate.

In the role, there are requirements for health status and various certifications to gain access to different customers' facilities, ships, platforms, etc. Since we also have various authorities as customers, there are additional requirements for approved security clearance.

Who are you?

We need you who have gathered some experience in machine installations and commissioning and feel confident with it. In addition to electrical knowledge, which includes both operational electricity and control programs, you need to have a good understanding of hydraulics and mechanics to achieve the overall system understanding required. You need to be solution-oriented, meticulous, and enjoy a role where you can take responsibility. You like to work practically but also contribute to a team where collaboration is as important as technical competence.

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience as an electrician
• Relevant education in electrical engineering (certifications are a plus)
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Driving license B
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Approved security clearance (a requirement for the position)
