The Inspectorate for Strategic Products (ISP) is now looking for a security officer to be placed in the Unit for Operational Support and the IT and Security Group.

Job Description

The security protection officer within personnel security at ISP works closely with the authority's security manager and security protection chief in the diverse work within the security protection area. You will focus on security assessments and background checks, as well as support in the work with security protection agreements and the associated administration in the systematic work of security protection.

The work also involves support and collaboration regarding security protection within ISP, other authorities, companies, and organizations connected to ISP's operations. Training in and development of regulations and working methods, as well as monitoring compliance, is another part of the tasks. You will develop and implement routines, instructions, and action plans regarding security. You will conduct security interviews and participate in the implementation of security protection controls.

Qualifications

• Relevant university education or other training combined with work experience that the employer deems relevant
• Current, relevant, and several years of experience in handling personnel security issues
• Current, relevant, and several years of experience in security assessment interviews
• Current, relevant, and several years of experience in security-protected procurement
• Good knowledge of and experience with the Security Protection Act and related administrative tasks
• Good knowledge of the Office suite
• Good ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
• Completed security training or equivalent that the employer considers equivalent

Meritorious

• Experience in leading security investigations and confidentiality assessments
• Knowledge of the Freedom of Information and Secrecy Act, the Protection Act, and the Security Protection Act and their compliance
• Experience in incident management
• Experience in handling security issues in a government agency or public sector

We are looking for someone who has a good ability to plan, execute, and complete tasks/projects. You enjoy working both independently and in a team. You are security-conscious and have the ability to create and maintain trust. You have good analytical skills and can deliver within set deadlines without compromising on accuracy.

The Unit

As a security protection officer, you will be placed in the Unit for Operational Support, in the IT and Security Group. The unit also includes the Legal and Supervision Group and the group for personnel, finance, administration, and communication. The unit has diverse competencies in areas such as IT and security, finance, HR, archives, registration, internal services, communication, procurement, law, and administration.

About Employment at ISP

The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date is according to agreement. The employment includes an obligation to be placed in a war situation.

To work with us, Swedish citizenship is required. The position is classified in a security class, and a security screening with a background check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made. Since a large part of the tasks involve confidential information, the possibility of remote work is limited.
