Vårdcentralen Lindeborg is a well-functioning and pleasant health care unit in southern Malmö, with good contacts with other healthcare providers in the district. Our daily work is characterized by patient focus and value-driven management, where business development is a natural part of our working method.

Our health center is well-equipped in terms of both personnel and medical equipment. Today, we have 38 employees in various professional categories caring for our over 8,400 registered patients. We offer a complete range of services including medical consultations, district nurse consultations, psychologist, social worker, physiotherapist, and occupational therapist. Currently, we have five specialist doctors and four resident doctors, and we have had low staff turnover among our doctors. Here you will also find specialist clinics for heart failure, diabetes, asthma/COPD, and hypertension. Additionally, we have a child health center (BVC) and we are a training center for future specialist doctors with several training positions. Together, we work to provide all our patients with safe and accessible primary care with a good quality of service.

You can easily reach our bright and beautiful premises built in 2008. We are located close to Hyllie station with good commuting options to other parts of Skåne and Copenhagen.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We now welcome a dedicated specialist physician in general medicine with an interest in close patient work. Here, you will join an organization where good service and a welcoming attitude are a given!

You will work with common tasks at the health center such as planned and urgent medical visits, serving as a consulting physician for nurses and training doctors, as well as participating in rounds for assessment and triage. Collaborative cases with the municipality and other authorities are also part of your daily work. The health center serves individuals of various ages and backgrounds. This requires a holistic perspective based on the individual’s conditions and needs.

In your role, you will collaborate closely with engaged and knowledgeable colleagues in a pleasant environment. We are a close-knit and well-functioning group of doctors who value continuing education and inter-collegial learning. We have a positive attitude towards development, both in terms of providing you as an individual with continuous education and opportunities for growth, as well as everyone contributing to the unit's development over time. Together, we create our unit within the framework of the assignment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed physician with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare and have specialist competence in general medicine. Language skills in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are a requirement for the position.

As a person, you are attentive, empathetic, and have a professional demeanor towards both patients and colleagues. You are confident in yourself and your professional role, with a solid foundation of experience and knowledge. At the same time, we value your curiosity and desire to constantly develop and learn more. You have the ability to work independently but also enjoy collaborating in a team. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
