About the role and your tasks

Your work is guided by the needs of individuals. A workday may consist of providing support and assistance with personal care, caregiving, medical interventions delegated by a nurse, and other assistance that the person you support may need. Documentation is done in Lifecare. Your role also includes contributing to the development of the organization and maintaining good quality.

We offer you a varied job where you make a difference for others every day. We have no split shifts, and our full-time measure means you get more free time in your daily life. With us, you have the opportunity to grow and be stimulated, for example, through different roles, responsibilities, or training.

The working hours are from 14:15 to 22:45. You will work every other weekend. We offer everyone to work full-time, which means 36 hours and 20 minutes per week.

Qualifications

• You are a trained nursing assistant.
• Experience working in care and nursing.
• For work in home care for younger individuals, you need to be comfortable riding a bike and have a manual driving license.
• Good knowledge of Swedish is required, both spoken and written.
• You also have good digital skills, for example, in documentation work.

You are responsible, engaged, flexible, and attentive - with clients, relatives, and colleagues. You understand how important it is for each individual to be involved and have influence over their daily lives.

About the workplace

The home care of Lund Municipality is divided into several areas. In each area, nursing assistants and caregivers work in teams with health and medical staff under the leadership of a unit manager. Each area also has a unit administrator and planner/coordinator. Home care for younger individuals offers service, care, and home healthcare interventions to the municipality's clients who are younger than 65. The target group is broad, and you will benefit from experiences in areas such as disability, psychiatry, somatics, etc.

Home Care for Younger Individuals has its meeting place on Bankgatan in central Lund. From here, we bike or drive out to clients living around Lund city, distributed across four areas: Linero/Tuna, Centrum/Klostergården, Värpinge, Gunnesbo/Nöbbelöv, and Fäladen.

The goal of home care is to carry out assignments with high quality based on individual needs and wishes, as well as to provide the opportunity to remain in their own homes.
