The Social Administration is divided into five areas: Home Care, Care and Nursing Homes, Health and Medical Care, Individual and Family Care, and the area for people with disabilities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a nursing assistant in home care, you play an important role in direct contact with our clients, providing personal care and service tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
Your work also includes medical and rehabilitative interventions such as dressings and medication administration, as well as digital documentation. The work is carried out with great consideration for each client's individual needs. We work with fixed care contacts, which means you will have primary responsibility for some of the clients.
You will be part of a workgroup consisting of both nursing assistants and care aides. You contribute positively to the development of the operations in close collaboration with your manager and colleagues. In line with the new Social Services Act 2025, we welcome your interest in working preventively and knowledge-based.
Work is scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends. Most tasks are performed in the client's home, which you will reach by walking, cycling, or driving.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has completed a high school care program or equivalent. For permanent employment, a nursing assistant certificate is required.
You have good IT skills, meaning you are comfortable using a computer/tablet to document, report, and read emails as required by the operations.
You are proficient in the Swedish language, enabling you to communicate both verbally and in writing with clients, colleagues, and relatives as required by the operations.
Your personal competencies are characterized by being:
- Confident in your professional role and working based on the fundamental principle of equal value for all people.
- Structured and responsible, with the ability to independently plan, take initiative, and identify improvements.
- Attentive and flexible, with the client's needs at the center.
Of course, you contribute to a positive work environment where collaboration and a good attitude towards clients, colleagues, other professionals, and relatives are natural for you.
Since the job involves a lot of movement, you should have good physical fitness to handle this.
You have a B driver's license and driving experience.
