The Role of Nursing Assistant/Care Assistant

Your main tasks as a nursing assistant with us are to collaborate with other professionals in the care and monitoring of patients. You are responsible for the order in the treatment room as well as the preparation, functional checks, and cleaning of medical technical equipment. It is also part of your job to document observations regarding the patient's condition. As a nursing assistant, you also play an important role in caring for relatives. When you work with us during the summer, you contribute to good and patient-safe care.

The Operations and Intensive Care Clinic is one of the largest clinics at the hospital with approximately 160 employees in intensive care, surgical care, sterile technical operations, and an administrative unit. The Intensive Care Unit is a specialist department for severely ill patients who require careful monitoring, care, and treatment around the clock. We have three different units, one is the recovery unit where we care for and monitor newly operated patients. The second is the cardiac intensive care unit, and the third is the intensive care unit.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant/care assistant, or you who are studying to become a nurse or doctor. We prefer that you have completed your third semester, but individual assessment can occur earlier.

To have the best possible summer planning, we look positively on if you can work weeks 25-33 during the summer. Introduction can possibly take place outside of these weeks.

Our Recruitment Process

As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant is a protected title, and you will need to indicate in your application if you have proof of the protected title. If you currently have a permanent position as a nursing assistant and do not have proof of the protected title, please attach a certificate of your permanent position in your application to continue holding the title of nursing assistant.
