RESPONSIBILITIES

The Planning and Construction Management unit is a growing team consisting of ambitious water and wastewater project managers, construction managers, and specialists with extensive practical and technical expertise. Our mission is to execute and ensure quality in planning and construction management in the company's investment projects.

As a construction manager, you work in both planning and implementation of projects alongside project managers. In the planning phase, you ensure that proposed solutions are buildable and review technical documents. In the implementation phase, you are responsible for ensuring that the contract and construction documents are followed and serve as a present contact person for the contractor. You provide technical support and actively work towards cost-effective and sustainable solutions. The role also includes financial follow-up and responsibility for construction meetings.

The position is a permanent employment with a six-month probation period, based at the headquarters in Ulvsunda, Bromma.

Your main responsibilities:

• Participate in planning and implementation of investment projects.
• Ensure buildability and review documents in early stages.
• Provide technical support to project managers in method and implementation issues.
• Ensure that contracts and construction documents are followed.
• Conduct regular site visits for follow-up and quality assurance.
• Contribute to cost-effective and environmentally sustainable solutions.
• Be responsible for construction meetings (invitation, leadership, and administration).
• Follow up on finances, e.g., quantity adjustments, notifications, and change order management.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in technology, who enjoys community building and wants to drive socially important projects. As a person, you are flexible and quickly find solutions to emerging problems, always trying to see opportunities in new situations. You are eager to share your knowledge and contribute to good collaboration by maintaining an open and accommodating approach. You communicate clearly and ensure that your messages are understood. Furthermore, you take independent responsibility for your tasks and are unpretentious in your working style.

To succeed in your role, we see that you have:

• Relevant technical education and a course in construction law AB04 and ABT06 or equivalent work experience that the employer deems equivalent.
• At least five years of experience in civil engineering contracts.
• At least three years of experience in construction management within civil engineering projects.
• Good knowledge and experience working with AMA and MER Construction.
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Driver's license B.

It is advantageous if you have experience in water and pipe laying work and good knowledge of occupational safety issues and BAS-P/BAS-U.
