The facility is located at Gymnasievägen 6-8 in Luleå and has a total of 9 departments, of which 6 have regular care and nursing places. The other 3 departments have care places for people with special care needs. These departments consist of: a special department for people with severe BPSD issues, a short-term department, and a department aimed at active dementia patients. This position will primarily be placed in the special department for people with severe BPSD issues.

The working hours are varied and suitable for those who enjoy shift work, with shifts distributed over days, evenings, and weekends according to a schedule. The start date for the position is negotiable.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work as a care assistant with us is varied, and you will work to ensure that users can live as dignified and independent a life as possible despite any disabilities and/or illnesses. You will work in a team with various professional roles to provide the best possible support to the user based on their needs, resources, and opportunities according to PPP (Practical Professional Planning).

Performing the work with quality is important to us and something we actively work on. With the user in focus and with the support of our shared values, you will work to develop well-planned and flexible solutions tailored to individual needs. You will thus work with personal care, mobilization, and transfers, social support, and medication management.

Documentation is an important part of the work, and you are responsible for documenting in Combine according to the Social Services Act.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and a genuine interest and commitment to working with elderly people. Additionally, you have:

• Relevant experience
• Good digital skills
• Approved grades in Swedish equivalent to at least grade 9

Education as a care assistant, experience with behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD), psychiatry, dementia care, low-arousal approach, and documentation are meritorious.

As a person, you are confident in yourself, good at collaborating with others, and structured in how you plan and drive your tasks forward. We highly value your personal competencies in this recruitment.
