Do you want to help develop the future of psychiatry for children and adolescents? We offer an exciting position that combines clinical work at the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic (BUP) in Piteå with a regional assignment. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of methods in line with the national comorbidity investigation, aimed at creating a more cohesive care for individuals with both mental health issues and harmful use or dependence. With us, you will be part of an engaged team working to provide the best possible care for children and adolescents up to 18 years old.

We are looking for

We are looking for a licensed psychiatric nurse, preferably with experience in addiction care, child and adolescent psychiatry, adult psychiatry, or related fields. Experience in project management is an asset.

What you will work with

50% of your working time will be spent as part of an engaged team at the BUP clinic in Piteå. The team consists of nurses, doctors, psychologists, CBT therapists, psychotherapists, occupational therapists, and administrative staff. The work as a nurse in the team is varied and includes, among other things, telephone counseling, outpatient visits, and collaboration with social services, schools, and other care providers. Participation in teamwork and development work at the clinic is an important part of the assignment.
The remaining 50% of your working time will involve a regional assignment linked to the comorbidity investigation for at least two years. In this part of the position, you will work regionally, both in outpatient care and inpatient care. The assignment involves implementing and supporting work based on the recommendations of the comorbidity investigation. You will develop regional common routines and collaboration structures and contribute to competency-enhancing efforts. The work is carried out in close collaboration with other staff within BUP Norrbotten.

Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date according to agreement. Working hours are scheduled Monday - Friday, 08:00-17:00. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.

The position is within pediatric care: We apply a background check before the hiring decision according to the provisions of the law (2013:852) on background checks of individuals working with children.
