We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist, and we welcome both applicants with long experience and those who are newly graduated. Proficiency in Swedish at C1 level is a requirement. For the role, you need to express and understand the Swedish language well in both speech and writing.

What you will work with

Here at the Rehabilitation Unit, Piteå Hospital, we work with inpatients in care departments and in outpatient rehabilitation. The care departments have different focuses such as stroke, medicine, PAVA, and orthopedics. We often work in teams together with other professionals such as physiotherapists, social workers, nurses, doctors, and other healthcare providers. In the role of occupational therapist, you contribute your specific professional expertise to provide the patient with the best possible care and rehabilitation.

The work includes, among other things, assessments, evaluations, rehabilitation, transfers, prescription and testing of assistive devices, and training in daily rehabilitation for the ward's healthcare staff. You are important in the discharge process and report to the next level of care for a safe and secure discharge for the patient. As a temporary worker in the occupational therapy unit at Piteå Hospital, you will work with one of the inpatient wards at the hospital. We place great emphasis on a good introduction and collegial support in the work. There is always experienced staff at the workplace even during the holiday period, and we have a wide range of ages and experiences. Information about the position

Temporary position from May to September with the possibility of extension. Shorter temporary positions during the holiday period are also of interest. Working hours full-time or by agreement daytime Monday - Friday.

Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
