Organizationally, you will belong to the Maternal and Child Health Psychologists. Currently, there are fourteen psychologists working within the clinic, of which seven are in Maternal and Child Health and eight are in Child and Adolescent Health.
We are looking for
We are looking for a licensed psychologist who has a B driver's license. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in Maternal and Child Health or have experience working with small children.

This is what you will work with
You will meet expectant parents, parents, and children aged 0-5 years. The focus is on preventive work and early interventions. As a psychologist within the unit, you contribute to promoting mental health and preventing ill health in collaboration with the staff at the county's health centers through consultations and direct interventions for expectant parents, parents, and children. The work is varied, developing, and includes, among other things; consultation, method development, and training of staff, mapping/assessment and counseling treatment, advice and support in parenting, as well as developmental assessments at the BVC level. You will collaborate with the child's other networks and important care neighbors. The work is largely independent, and you can plan your workdays and arrangements based on the tasks involved. All health centers in Norrbotten County are our work area. Some travel is included in the job, but it can often be planned with good foresight. Placement is in Norrbotten County. You will receive professional supervision in a group.

Information about the position
The position is permanent, full-time, working hours 08.00 - 17.00. The place of employment can be throughout the county. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
