About the Job

As a specialist nursing assistant at the dementia unit Sehlstedts VoB, you will play a central role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our residents.

You will work closely with an engaged team where your ability to meet people, both residents and colleagues, is of utmost importance. Pedagogical skills and creativity will be crucial in your daily work, where you must be able to influence others and adapt efforts based on each resident's unique needs.

The role of specialist nursing assistant means that you, based on deep knowledge and skills in person-centered, salutogenic care and support, will guide, mentor, and educate colleagues in complex care situations. Based on your specialist area, you will actively work with overarching quality work by identifying needs, initiating, driving quality and operational improvements, and participating in follow-ups. You will also mentor students and interns.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a trained specialist nursing assistant with a vocational education of at least 200 YH points, focusing on psychiatry, dementia, or palliative care
• Has work experience in care and support
• Is computer literate for documentation and incident management in various IT systems
• Has a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written, as communication and documentation are important parts of the job
• Has experience in mentoring groups and individuals
