Temporary Position - Sales Manager at Riksbyggen Property Management Market Area North/Umeå/Middle Norrland

Are you curious about working as a sales manager and want to join our team that works with new customer sales? Now is your chance. We are looking for a temporary position during a parental leave of approximately 14 months starting from 2026-03-01.

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a salesperson with a business-oriented approach and wants to contribute to Riksbyggen's continued success. Are you attracted to selling a wide portfolio of property services to both housing cooperatives and commercial property owners? Then this could be the job for you.

What Will You Do?

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the overall sales of property services within the Business Area of Property Management.

In this role, you will have your own budget and result responsibility and will be responsible for planning, leading, and executing new customer sales of services within Property Management. The Sales Manager works closely with market area managers and customer group managers in the local market areas.

The customers are housing cooperatives and commercial property owners. Your task is to find new customers where you will work with customer outreach, quotes, business calculations, and contract signing. You will also work with the inquiries that continuously come to Riksbyggen.

Your duties include setting relevant sales targets, executing and reporting new customer sales, establishing an annual local sales and marketing plan, and planning and executing local marketing activities (e.g., trade shows and local participation in central campaigns). You will be responsible for launching new products and services within your geographical area. The assignment will operate in the northern area.

You will report to the Sales Manager within Property Management. The location for the position is Umeå, Luleå, or Skellefteå. Your geographical area of responsibility includes Umeå, Luleå, Skellefteå, Sundsvall, and Östersund.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who believes that sales and long-term customer relationships are a driving force and has good experience in conducting and driving contract negotiations. Ideally, you have experience from the construction and property industry, but you may also have worked in another industry with similar service delivery. If you have previous experience with AFF agreements or tender work for the public market, we consider this an advantage.

We prefer that you have relevant experience in marketing/sales or have gained equivalent experience through many years of work experience. It is important that you have good knowledge of finance and calculations as you will be responsible for profitability calculations and pricing of services.

As a person, you are trustworthy, engaged, and responsible, and you work independently with great commitment and drive. At the same time, you are a team player who can collaborate with and support colleagues in the customer group. You have a business-oriented mindset, are good at seeing and meeting customer needs, and work results-oriented towards set goals. Your knowledge of Swedish is very good, and you communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.

A driver's license is required for this position. Riksbyggen applies a probationary period. Work during evenings may occur, as well as 2-3 overnight stays per month in connection with travel.
