Are you interested in sports and outdoor activities and have experience working in a retail environment, preferably in large-scale operations and with similar products? Are you passionate about delivering top-notch customer service and feel confident in sales and service? Then you might be the one we are looking for as a temporary store employee at our store in Umeå!

We are looking for an engaged and positive employee who has experience in retail work, preferably with handling large product flows and seasonal products.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are used to working towards key performance indicators while always keeping the customer in focus. As a store employee at Sportshopen, you will be part of a cheerful and wonderful team working together to achieve new goals.

Responsibilities💻

As a store employee with us, you will always greet our customers with a cheerful smile and provide them with the best possible service experience. Your tasks include cash register work, signage, price labeling, unpacking and restocking products, as well as keeping the store organized. You also have an eye for product display and ensure that the right product is always in the right place.

Qualifications🏆

We are looking for someone with experience in retail, preferably focused on sports or outdoor products. You are comfortable handling large product flows and seasonal changes and have experience working with product placement and rearrangement. Working towards sales targets and upselling is something you feel confident with.

Conditions🤝🏼

The position is a temporary contract at 80% employment rate starting immediately and lasting until June 2026 with a chance for extension.

We apply salary according to the collective agreement with the Trade Union.

We may conduct a credit check as well as a criminal record check on the applicant.

Swedemount Sportswear & Fashion AB started in 1991 and today has 23 stores under the name Sportshopen and one store under the name Bazar. In Sörred outside Gothenburg, we have our 20,000 sqm automated warehouse and office. In Grebbestad on the west coast, we also have our headquarters and our largest store, which is the largest sports store in the Nordics at 14,000 sqm.

Our stores are located all over Sweden, from north to south, with a growing e-commerce that also extends to the European market. Sportshopen is today one of the larger individual players in Sweden in the sale of sports and leisure. Our range mainly consists of clothing and shoes from leading brand suppliers, but we also develop and manufacture our own brands – clothing that can be used for activities in harsh climates, year-round.
