The role of nursing assistant/care assistant/attendant

You will work to provide our patients with good care in labor, gynecological wards, maternity, or the women's clinic's reception. Your future workplace

At the Women's Clinic, Ryhov County Hospital, a total of 210 employees work. We provide health and medical care during pregnancy and childbirth, gynecological diseases, abortion and contraceptive services, as well as adolescents' reproductive health. The clinic has a county-wide responsibility for women with complicated pregnancies and threatened premature births. The youth clinic and women's health care are part of the Women's Clinic.

When you summer job with us

You contribute to good and safe patient care. Your tasks vary depending on the department and your skills. During a potential interview, each department will tell you more about their operations and what tasks are included with them.

Your profile

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant, or you who are studying to become a nurse or doctor. You need to have completed the fourth term of the nursing program or the sixth term of the medical program if you are not a nursing assistant previously.

To thrive with us, you work well with others and have the ability to understand others' perspectives. You plan and take responsibility for your tasks, see opportunities in new situations, and remain calm even in stressful and pressuring situations. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

To have the best possible summer planning, we wish for you to work full-time for six to eight weeks during the summer. Our aim is for the introduction to be completed before our vacation period starts. Our vacation period is during weeks 25-34.

It is not always easy to be new at work, and therefore we do our utmost to ensure that you feel safe, motivated, and prepared for your summer job with us. Before you start working in the operation, you will receive thorough training based on your needs and experiences. As an employee in Region Jönköping County, you are welcome to our wellness facilities. They are designed so that you can engage in wellness activities to feel good, regardless of physical level and previous training experience. This benefit also applies to you as a summer temp with a contract of at least three weeks. The facilities are located in Eksjö, Nässjö, Jönköping, and Värnamo.

Our recruitment process

As selection, interviews, and appointments take place continuously, we ask you to submit your application as soon as possible, but no later than February 5, 2025. Welcome with your application!

Please be sure to specify any internships and work experience in your application. It is also important that you attach your diploma. If you are not yet finished with your studies, please attach a LADOK extract or other certificate showing completed courses.

If you already have a verbal agreement regarding a summer position with a manager in our operation, you should specify that person's name and clinic in your application.

As the title of nursing assistant has been protected since July 1, 2023, you will need to indicate in your application whether you have proof of a protected title. If you currently have a permanent position as a nursing assistant and do not have proof of a protected title, we ask you to attach a certificate of your permanent position in your application to continue to hold the title of nursing assistant.
