Helicopter Wing is looking for a Spotter Coordinator for the Air Show 2026
In 2026, the Air Force will celebrate its 100th anniversary. As part of the celebration, the Helicopter Wing will host the Air Show to be held at Malmen on August 22-23, 2026.
About the Position
The Helicopter Wing is now seeking a team member to join the project group for the Air Show 2026. The position will be located at the Helicopter Wing's staff, A3, and reports to the project manager for Air Show 2026.
Main Responsibilities
As the Spotter Coordinator, you will be the Helicopter Wing's contact person and face for spotters, highly aviation-interested individuals who travel around the world to see and photograph aircraft at air shows.
The work is largely independent but may be guided by the project manager for Air Show 2026.
As the Spotter Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- email and phone contact with spotters
- order points regarding spotters in garrison and wing orders
- updating maps and program brochures regarding spotters
- preparation and setup of the spotter area before the event days
- receiving and guiding spotters during the event days
- evaluation from spotters and points in the final report
Qualifications
- Relevant work experience as an officer in the Armed Forces, preferably the Air Force
- Previous experience working with SAP/PRIO and VIDAR
- Good ability to express oneself in speech and writing

Desirable Qualifications
- Approved airside training
- Experience working with aviation enthusiasts from both Sweden and other countries
- Documented or known ability to independently represent the Air Force before spectators
