Unika Jälla Ekensberg is a group home within LSS person circle 1, located in a picturesque area just outside Uppsala. We offer meaningful and inspiring workdays filled with warmth. We are now looking for dedicated employees who want to work as substitutes. The shifts can cover all hours of the day.

As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to people with disabilities, aiming to promote their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will assist the users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.

We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, focusing on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal responses to create security and predictability in the users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the resources and budget of the organization.

Qualifications

• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

• Good computer skills, experience with documentation.

• Experience in healthcare and social services.

• High school education such as child and leisure program, healthcare and social care program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogy, social pedagogy, or university education in a relevant field.

• Driver's license.

Meritorious if you also have

• Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-arousal responses.

• Worked with complex support needs.

Employment type: Hourly substitute Working hours: By agreement Working time: Daytime, evening, night, and weekends Start date: By agreement, we are positive if you can start soon. Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
