Fire Safety Engineer – Development and Support Projects in Complex Technical Systems

Responsibilities

As a Fire Safety Engineer, you will work closely with development projects and ensure that fire safety regulations are followed throughout the design process. You will drive the fire protection technical work from early analyses to completed documentation and act as an advisory expert in the project team. The work involves identifying and assessing fire risks in complex technical systems, reviewing design solutions, and formulating requirements to minimize risks. You will also produce documentation, interpret regulations, and suggest appropriate passive and active fire protection measures.

The role involves continuous dialogue with internal development disciplines and external stakeholders, where you present analyses, explain risks, and ensure that fire safety work has the right impact. The work concerns both overall solutions in fire protection and details in material choices and system integration, and you will have significant responsibility to lead and plan the fire protection technical work within your projects.

You drive your tasks forward, make decisions based on technical assessments, and communicate confidently with both internal and external parties. Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, with a focus on fire safety
• Fluency in Swedish and English
• Swedish citizenship
