About the Role

Securitas is now looking for security guards as needed. To fit in the role of a security guard, you have a genuine desire to build good relationships and respect everyone, regardless of background. Your main task is to make people feel safe in their everyday lives.

You do this by being present in public places, which hopefully provides a calming effect, but if the situation requires it, you are expected to act. As a security guard, you are employed by Securitas but work under the police authority's regulations.

In this role, you will among other things:

• Welcome and guide people on site with a calm and helpful demeanor
• Conduct patrols and ensure everything is in order in the client's premises
• Be attentive to deviations and contribute to a safe and functioning environment
• Collaborate closely with the client's staff and assist in various types of situations

We are looking for someone who enjoys a social role where you can combine service with responsibility. The days can be eventful and filled with meetings with people, while night shifts are often characterized by a calmer pace and focus on patrolling and control. The work involves a combination of walking and standing for most of the workday, which can be challenging if you are not used to it.

This position is suitable for you who want a part-time job and enjoy working with people, as well as making an important societal contribution. This position will be stationed in hospital and commercial environments. We have a strong community and a broad experience among our colleagues that enables us to handle most situations. If you want to be part of a close-knit team, this is the job for you.

As we primarily seek staff for the summer, we hope you are available for work between weeks 25-33. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities in good time!

Requirements

We believe you are a stable and stress-resistant person who can handle pressure and adversity well. You are humble, team-oriented, and service-minded in your interactions with the public, but also understand the responsibility in your role and can remain objective when required. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

• You have a security guard training and a valid security guard permit
• You have approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• B driver's license

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from the first year of high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved under the respective legislation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legal compliance, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
