Are you an efficient administrator and case officer with expertise in various types of state grants? We are now urgently seeking a case officer for state grants, etc., for the Community Building Department, Unit for Social Sustainability.
Together with the Cultural Heritage Unit, Planning and Building Unit, and the Unit for Community Protection and Preparedness, the unit will contribute to good community planning and sustainable community building within our areas of responsibility. The unit has about 10 employees. You will work in a dynamic and inspiring team with colleagues who each contribute with expertise in their fields.
An important part of the County Administrative Board's tasks is to process and decide on various types of grants. A temporary reinforcement is now needed for the administration and processing of the unit's various support types within integration, men's violence against women, and personal representatives.
Job Responsibilities
As a case officer for grants within integration, personal representatives, and men's violence against women, you will be part of the strategic regional work to promote the county's development. Your tasks will include, among others:
- responsibility for conducting calls for state grants within integration and men's violence against women;
- administering and evaluating applications for state grants within integration, men's violence against women, and personal representatives received during the period;
- administering payments of approved state grants;
- following up both operations and finances in the projects that have been granted state funding. Tasks include collecting and analyzing information from the projects, conducting project visits, compiling decision-making materials, texts, and reports, as well as giving oral presentations. The work is partly very independent;
- processing and administering any decisions regarding recovery;
- compiling information for the County Administrative Board's website for the various state grants and ensuring that relevant information about approved projects and grants is reported in relevant IT systems;
- collaborating internally and working in coordination with the unit's other employees, particularly your colleagues in integration and men's violence against women;
- participating in various regional and national networks related to the various state grants;
- participating in the implementation of a development project regarding the administration of state grants jointly for the entire department, in collaboration with unit managers and other employees;
- being responsible for parts of the annual reporting that accompanies the assignments.
Other tasks and types of grants may be added. Travel within the county and within the country is normally part of the job.
Qualifications and Profile
We are looking for someone who has:
- at least a high school education in economics or administration or another three-year university preparatory education that the employer deems equivalent;
- good knowledge of or documented experience in accounting;
- good knowledge of or documented experience in administration;
- experience working with the MS Office suite and handling Excel;
- good ability to work in various IT systems, such as SharePoint and Platina;
- ability to work goal- and results-oriented;
- a valid driver's license (B).
Meritorious are:
- experience in project follow-up or processing of grant funds in the public sector.
- experience in other processing and administration in the public sector.
- similar tasks with support processing at a County Administrative Board.

About the Position
The employment is a full-time (100%) temporary position for 6 months. The start date for the employment is January 13, 2026.
All positions at the County Administrative Board may be subject to security clearance and military placement depending on the nature of the assignment.
