We are looking for a new cemetery worker for the 2026 season.

About us

Our team at the cemetery administration in Tibro parish needs a new employee for 2026. During the peak season, we consist of about 12 employees working both in Tibro and Ransberg. We manage a total of four cemeteries, three churches, one chapel, and two parish houses.

About the job

Your tasks will include all jobs occurring at the cemetery, such as lawn mowing, trimming, planting, watering, weed control, hedge trimming, pruning, and grave digging. Daily maintenance of our machinery and various property and construction work is also included.

About you

We are looking for someone who has completed a horticultural education or has equivalent experience in practical park or cemetery work. Experience in a similar position within the Church of Sweden is considered a plus. A valid driver's license (B) is required, as well as some experience operating machinery. You should be physically fit as many tasks are physically demanding.

If you have valid safety training such as 'Safe Grave Digging', Work on Roads, ADR 1.3, chainsaw license, and brushcutter license, it is an advantage. Certain driving licenses may also be beneficial.

In the recruitment process, we will place great emphasis on your personal qualities. We want you to be driven, flexible, and meticulous. Furthermore, you should have good teamwork skills and social competence as the job involves many personal interactions. You should be able to work both independently and in a team, as well as assess which routine tasks need to be performed and when.

We are looking for a seasonal worker at 100% from March 30, 2026, until August 20, 2026, with the possibility of extension.
