About the Position

Svenska kraftnät is facing a significant expansion and development. To meet the growing needs of the organization, we are now looking for a Strategic Buyer with a focus on consultants within the sub-category of design for the Procurement Consultants unit.

In this role, you will work both strategically and tactically, alongside our category leader, to develop the sub-category and ensure business-oriented, efficient, and sustainable procurement in line with applicable legislation and governing documents.

Like Svenska kraftnät, the category is in an expansive phase, which provides opportunities to be creative and try new approaches to streamline our processes and routines.

As a strategic buyer in design, you will work closely with both internal clients and our framework agreement suppliers. The role is broad and includes, among other things:

• Implementation of more or less complex call-offs from our framework agreements
• Contract follow-up and some contract management of new and existing framework agreements and contracts
• Development of working methods, routines, and creation and management of relevant procurement templates
• Support and contribution to Svenska kraftnät's strategic work within the category
• Support, training, and advice to the organization on procurement-related issues
• Conducting procurements within the entire category of Consultants (technical, IT, and others), including:
• Development of procurement strategy
• Creation and quality assurance of requirement and procurement documents
• Evaluation, negotiation, award, and contract signing
• Contract follow-up through compilations, analyses, scorecards, and spend analyses
• Participation in development work within the procurement department for a more efficient and sustainable working method

You will also collaborate with other support functions such as legal, security, and sustainability. The role is located in the Procurement department, Consultants unit.

The procurement department is currently in an active phase of change. The role involves contributing to the development of working methods while managing a high pace, many points of contact, and varying needs from the organization.

The department currently consists of about 50 employees working with procurement; consultants, contracts, indirect materials, IT, and the electricity market. The consultants unit currently consists of 20 employees and is characterized by collaboration, inclusion, and collegial atmosphere.

About You

Requirements:

We are looking for a relationship-building and business-oriented strategic buyer who builds trustful collaborations and finds common solutions together with both internal clients and suppliers. You are results-oriented with a strong drive and the ability to deliver on time and with high quality.

Furthermore, you are confident and stable in challenging situations, have the courage to stand up for your own assessments, and can professionally differentiate between the matter and the person.

You have a strategic and solution-oriented approach, where you see opportunities rather than problems, have a holistic view, and the ability to identify logic and connections in complex information and environments.

Requirements

• Relevant higher education (e.g., economics, engineering, law) or vocational training in procurement, or equivalent work experience
• At least 3 years of current experience in strategic procurement work
• At least 2 years of experience in conducting procurements
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing

It is meritorious if you have knowledge and experience of some or any of the following, but it is not a requirement to be called for an interview.

• Experience from the electricity, infrastructure, construction, or other technical industry
• Work experience in category management/category work
• Work experience within the category of consultants, or recruitment.
• Work experience with LOU/LUF from a procurement perspective
• Basic knowledge of consulting law (ABK 09) and/or construction law (AB04/ABT06)
• Work experience in procurement and/or sales of technical consultants

• Travel occurs to a very limited extent in this position
