About the team and our tech environment

You will be part of our Java team in Stockholm, which develops and maintains our core systems for document processing and distribution to both digital and physical channels. Our platforms handle, among other things: digital archives, e-invoices, emails, SMS, Kivra, as well as monitoring of postal optimization and invoicing. 

The team currently consists of 13 developers primarily based in Stockholm. We work agile based on Scrum, and the team has a wealth of collective experience. Together, we help each other find new solutions and are eager to try new working methods. We work with a modern service-oriented architecture based on Docker containers in Kubernetes and a modern user interface built in Angular.

Our stack includes, among others:

• Backend: Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
• Frontend: Angular, TypeScript
• Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Docker
• CI/CD & version control: GitLab, Git
• Testing: JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers, Cypress
• Databases: MongoDB, MySQL, Elastic

Responsibilities

As a developer in the Java team, you will:

• Develop and enhance our core systems for document processing and distribution
• Build and improve user interfaces in Angular/TypeScript
• Design and develop backend services in Java/Spring Boot
• Be involved in making decisions regarding architecture, design, and technology choices
• Take responsibility for ensuring that the solutions create real value for our customers and partners
• Contribute to good code quality through testing, code reviews, and improvements in our CI/CD flow
• Be a sounding board and mentor for junior developers in the team, if you enjoy that role
• Influence both product, technology, and working methods.

Qualifications

We want you to:

• Have several years of experience in Java development, preferably with Spring Boot
• Have experience in frontend development, ideally in Angular and TypeScript
• Be accustomed to working with backend systems and modern web applications
• Thrive in an agile team, take initiative, and enjoy getting things done
• Preferably have a post-secondary education in computer science, software engineering, or similar
• Communicate in Swedish and English

To quickly get into the role and thrive, we hope you can:

• Version control in Git (preferably GitLab and CI/CD)
• Testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers, and Cypress
• Build systems like npm and Maven
• Develop and operate systems in Kubernetes
• Databases like MongoDB, MySQL, and Elastic
