In Krokom municipality, there are five home care areas: Krokom, Ås, Nälden, Offerdal, and Föllinge. In the Nälden area, which stretches from Nälden towards Rödön to Trångsviken, we now need to strengthen the team and are looking for someone who can and wants to make a difference for our elderly. We offer a staff room in the home care area you work in, from which the group operates. The unit manager for the workgroup also has an office in the same location. We provide continuous training in your work.

In Krokom municipality, you can choose between wellness grants and wellness hours.

The social administration consists of 600 employees where the breadth of the assignment is extensive. The administration is divided into five operational areas and is present throughout the municipality. Here, we are responsible for providing care and support, assistance and service, as well as health and medical care to the municipality's citizens in need, at all stages of life.

A day as a nursing assistant in home care Nälden

In the role of nursing assistant, you will work to provide care and support to individuals based on their own needs and circumstances. We work based on the guiding principles of trust, respect, and humility.

Our operations run day and evening, both weekdays and weekends. The tasks include medical care, simple cooking, assistance with hygiene, and outdoor activities. In your work, you are a guest in the individual's home, and we always work under confidentiality.

The central planning, which has a close collaboration with the group, is located in Krokom. We have a close collaboration with case managers, district nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. Every other week, the different professions and home care staff meet in team meetings. You will be a permanent care contact for some clients together with a colleague.

A car is used for all trips during the day, and home care uses modern four-wheel drive vehicles that can navigate all weather conditions.

We offer an introduction, and you will initially shadow a more experienced colleague, so you feel secure when you start working with us. In your work with us, you play an important role in the development of Krokom municipality's home care.

Your qualifications

You have completed the care and nursing program or another education in care and nursing that the employer deems equivalent.

You enjoy providing good care and support, and you have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.

To thrive in the role, it is important that you have good planning and collaboration skills. The work requires that you can take initiative and be self-sufficient and flexible. You are responsible and engaged and want to work with the target group. This requires a good sense of service and communication skills.

A driver's license is a requirement for the position.

Permanent employment full-time or part-time with start date according to agreement.
