Job Responsibilities
The Operations and Maintenance Department is responsible for supervision, repair, and operation of outdoor environments, buildings, and installations over time, ensuring good technical status and satisfied customers.
This is achieved through close collaboration with customers, other departments within the administration, and other organizations in the city. The department is responsible for carrying out inspections required by authorities and contributes to the development of energy-saving measures. We perform the assignments requested by our customers.
We are now looking for caretakers for fixed-term employment, approximately 6 months, for our office service unit. The office service unit serves several of our own premises. Our cleaners keep the premises neat and clean, and our caretakers handle everything from goods reception to mail management.
As a caretaker, you have a broad role where your main tasks include everything from assembly work, replacing light sources, handling incoming caretaker requests to receiving goods and managing mail. You will manage what is included in the daily routine.
Main tasks within the role:
- goods reception
- mail management
- minor repairs
- maintenance
- handling and resolving service requests
- waste management
- delivering materials
- assisting with moves
- SBA controls
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with at least a relevant high school education for the position. We also see that you need some experience in similar tasks within caretaking.

You can quickly adjust your perspective and approach and see opportunities in changes. You are attentive in your interactions. You are positive, find solutions, and want to help. You understand what those we serve need and ensure they are satisfied.
A driver's license (B), proficiency in the Office suite, and Outlook are also required for the position. You must also be able to communicate fluently in spoken and written Swedish.
