Region Västerbotten's primary care provides broad primary care services throughout Västerbotten County, meeting patients of all ages, both in urban and rural areas. With 33 health centers and medical stations, we are where you are. We actively work with research and development, utilizing medical results to offer high-quality care where the patient is involved. The southern primary care area consists of Teg, Hörnefors, and Nordmaling health centers, as well as the mobile home visit team PrimÄR. This temporary position is based at Teg Health Center.

We are looking for someone who wants to work at a health center in central Umeå with a catchment area consisting of a mixed population from both urban and rural settings. We have approximately 17,600 registered patients with us. We have about 80 employees working with us and a good staffing level across all occupational categories at the health center. We strive to maintain a non-prestigious environment at our health center, as we know that everyone has an important contribution to ensuring that the people registered with us experience that we offer them good care and advice. We have a strong sense of community at work and an engaged party committee that ensures we have fun even outside of working hours. With us, you will become part of an engaged rehabilitation team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a physiotherapist with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel secure.

You will meet children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly, working with assessment, treatment, and advice regarding various rehabilitation needs, and you are generally the first line assessor of musculoskeletal issues.

Your work includes individually performing functional assessments, treatments, and providing self-care and exercise instructions. At the health centers, teamwork is applied, and collaboration with other occupational categories occurs. We also conduct group training and osteoarthritis schools that you may lead.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist, preferably with experience in primary care. It is advantageous if you have knowledge in multimodal rehabilitation, osteoarthritis school, support and treatment work, and physical activity on prescription.

You should be accustomed to independent work and have an easy time collaborating with different occupational categories within the health center. Furthermore, you should have good initiative, be flexible, and be open to changes within the operational area.
