As a Sales Leader/Deputy Store Manager at Lidl

you are the right hand of the store manager and have a defined place in the store management. You motivate and inspire the store team to reach their full potential every day and ensure that tasks are performed efficiently, correctly, and on time. Of course, you participate in the daily store operations and work alongside the team to provide our customers with the best shopping experience.

The role includes tasks such as:

  • Ensuring and delivering excellent customer service in the store
  • Supporting the store manager in the daily operations of the store and ensuring that you achieve results by leading, motivating, and developing the store staff while participating in daily work in an exemplary manner
  • Ensuring that the store lives up to our core values of customer friendliness, product availability, freshness, cleanliness, and profitability
  • Working purposefully with the store's key performance indicators
  • Coordinating and organizing the introduction and further training of all store employees
  • You also have total responsibility for store operations when the store manager is not present

Your profile

  • You have experience in leading, engaging, inspiring, and developing teams in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment
  • You have good problem-solving skills and are adept at planning and delegating tasks
  • You have a strong customer focus and excellent communication skills, allowing you to provide feedback that develops the team and the store
  • You have the willpower to complete tasks on time and are motivated by exceeding set goals and maximizing productivity
  • You may have previous experience working as a deputy store manager, store manager, or department manager in grocery retail
  • You have completed high school or equivalent, preferably with a focus on commerce
  • If you have experience working in grocery retail or a similar industry, it is a plus
  • You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

The position is a permanent employment with an initial probationary period.
