As an Assistant Mechanic at Leksand Sommarland, you will work behind the scenes to keep our rides, attractions, and vehicles in top condition. Here, you will be part of an engaged team that ensures the park's technology operates safely, smoothly, and is ready for thousands of guests every day. You will alternate between daily safety checks and practical workshop work, assist with operational challenges, and help with both maintenance and simpler repairs.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety checks of rides and attractions

• Assist with operational issues and help solve technical challenges

• Perform simpler repairs and maintenance work

• Assist regular mechanics in the workshop

• Participate in service, adjustments, and safety routines

• Keep the workshop and technical areas organized

• Follow applicable safety requirements and procedures

• Help out at other stations as needed

• Guest service

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is an engaged, responsible, and curious team player with a genuine interest in technology. You enjoy practical work, are efficient, and collaborate easily while also taking initiative when needed. You have ongoing or completed relevant education in technology, vehicles, industry, electricity, mechanics, or similar. Experience with practical work in a workshop environment with vehicles/machines is a plus. Since the role involves daily communication with both colleagues and guests, you speak fluent Swedish and English. An AM/B driver's license and experience driving heavy vehicles are advantageous.

What can we offer?

Working hours vary according to the park's opening hours, so there will be work during the day, evenings, and weekends. The employment is a seasonal position at 80-100%, and the summer season runs from June to August. Salary and other conditions according to the collective agreement with Vista-HRF Gröna riksavtalet.

The amusement park Leksand Sommarland in Dalarna is a true adventure for families with children during the summer. Inside the gates, a wide range of activities and attractions await. Some of our most popular attractions include the Wipeout course in Siljan, Laser Tag, high ropes courses for both big and small, and of course our Waterland with heated pools and winding water slides. Our 250 summer staff welcome up to 6000 guests per day.
