We at Attendo are now looking for a Silvia Nurse for Attendo Ljung in Värmdö. Attendo Ljung is a nursing home with 56 places and a day activity for the elderly with a dementia diagnosis. We have been operating since 2009 under a contract with Värmdö municipality and we are now entering a new agreement from December 1st where we have included a Silvia Nurse as an added value.
The operation has been Silvia home certified since 2022 and has a high customer satisfaction according to the Socialstyrelsen user survey (2025). Employees enjoy their work and our employee surveys show a high willingness to recommend our workplace.
Job Description
We are now looking for you who are a Silvia Nurse through the Silviahemmet university or have completed a specialist education for nurses with a focus on dementia. You therefore have solid documented specialist competence in dementia care and are responsible for guidance in evidence-based methods and individual adaptation in care. The role also includes preventive work against mental illness, focusing on strengthening the individual's well-being and quality of life. Through individual conversations and discussion groups, early signs of loneliness, anxiety, and mental illness are identified and counteracted.
You will work 60% as a Silvia Nurse and 40% clinically scheduled in the dementia departments.
Your tasks include, among other things:
- Implement and follow up Attendo's working methods with the Dementia Compass, guide the organization's relatives' representatives, lead, plan, and follow up BPSD work in the organization.
- The Silvia Nurse is an important knowledge bank for the organization's activity organization, which also includes activity coordinators, rehabilitation staff, activity representatives, and group leaders.
- You follow up on response plans and actively guide in reminiscence methodology, sensory stimulation, and social interaction to promote cognitive and emotional well-being.
- You lead workshops for relatives, participate in care planning and family meetings as needed.

Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience in elderly care/nursing homes.
- You are a certified Silvia Nurse through Silviahemmet university or have completed specialist training for nurses with a focus on dementia.
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written).
- Good computer skills and familiarity with using digital planning tools.
