System Administrator in Finance

Responsibilities

The role of system administrator in Finance is broad, not just routine administration. It means being a specialist in most areas or at least not being afraid to take on the challenges that need to be solved in our daily work at KTH. You will be responsible for ongoing maintenance in our financial system Unit4 ERP (on-prem) such as permissions, SUHF triggers, project conversion, delegations in EFH, corrections in case of system errors, and other register maintenance.

As a system administrator, you will also be the administrator for our framework agreement banks, where understanding our setup of different bank accounts and permissions is crucial for KTH’s success.

Quickly and easily assisting with requested materials and files related to payment flows during an audit is part of the role, as well as being an important player in the group’s various projects concerning quality and efficiency. Other tasks may include holding simpler training sessions, writing manuals, and/or providing other administrative support to the group.

About the Department/Group

The BoS group (Payment Flows and System Support), which is part of KTH’s Finance Department, consists of a group manager and 22 employees including 2 process leaders. The group is divided into teams for supplier and customer processes. The system administrator role is directly under the group manager.

Within the finance department, there are also two system specialists for Unit4 ERP with whom our system administrator in BoS collaborates closely.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science and/or Accounting at the university level or other education/experience deemed equivalent by the authority.
• Experience with accounts receivable flows or accounting from an educational institution or company with larger volumes and flows.
• Previous administrator for a financial system.
• Swedish and English in speech and writing, as well as good knowledge of the Office package, as this is required in the work.

Meritorious

• Previously held the role of Superuser or System Administrator within Agresso/Unit4 ERP.
• Ability to demonstrate good results after implementing your own improvement suggestions within the accounts receivable process at previous workplaces.
