About us

Welcome to Närhälsan Dagson health center located in central Uddevalla within walking distance to both bus and train stations.

We are a well-functioning unit with 40 dedicated employees who together take care of our more than 11,700 registered patients. The staff group has a good collaboration and everyone is involved in the development of the health center.

About the job

Your tasks at the health center are varied, with a focus on the patient. The work consists of independent work in the laboratory with sampling and controls, assisting doctors with wounds and minor surgeries, as well as performing common examinations such as blood pressure measurement and EKG examination. Areas such as wound dressings, suture removal, and managing your own nursing assistant clinic may also be included.

You will work both independently and in teams with other staff categories at the health center. Inventory ordering and preparing examination rooms are part of the daily work. We work in the journal system Asynja Visph. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, so supervising students is also part of your role at the health center.

About you

• You have documented education as a nursing assistant.
• You have previous experience working at a health center and with venous sampling.
• It is an advantage if you have prior experience with wound dressings, suture removal, blood pressure measurement, and running your own nursing assistant clinic.
• Supervisor training is desirable.

In your work, you will meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you enjoy teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. The workload is varied and at times high, so it is important that you have a good ability to prioritize among your tasks and be flexible.

As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title. This means that you need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant in health and care.
