Come join us and be a part of the Health and Medical Care Organization of the Elderly and Care Administration! We are about 300 nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nursing assistants, and rehabilitation assistants distributed in health and medical care teams, known as "HSV teams".

With us, you will have the opportunity to work in several areas of home healthcare. This can be in the individual's own home (ordinary housing), in a care and nursing home, and/or in a short-term unit.

You will work daytime Monday to Friday (40-hour week) and have close collaboration with nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nursing staff.

Documentation is done in the data journal system Viva.

As a summer intern with us, you will provide good care and health and medical services to our patients together with professional colleagues. Your main task is to assist our nurses and perform delegated health and medical care tasks.

The tasks you receive depend on your previous experiences and how far you have progressed in your nursing education. Tasks may include assessments, wound dressings, catheter insertions, sampling, etc.

In addition to meaningful tasks, good working conditions, and professional colleagues, you as a summer intern will have the opportunity to gain work experience and familiarize yourself with a potential future profession and employer. You will have access to free coffee and tea at your workplace and are entitled to wellness grants based on how long and how much you work. You also have free entry to outdoor recreation areas, swimming pools, and adventure baths in Borås.

We are looking for you who are a nursing student and have completed term 3 of your studies.

The role requires that you are an engaged, responsible, attentive, and flexible person who enjoys working with people. With respect for the individual, you should have a professional demeanor that creates safety and trust.

You have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in the Swedish language.

A driving license (B) is a requirement.

Before an employment offer, you need to provide an extract from the police criminal record.
