About us

Närhälsan Eriksberg Health Center is a modern health center beautifully located in the heart of Gothenburg's harbor entrance.

Everyone is welcome here, and nearly 11,300 patients have chosen to register with us. We focus on health-promoting and disease-preventive activities. We offer general practitioner and district nurse consultations, child health care, asthma/COPD and diabetes clinics, as well as psychological services.

About the job

Your tasks at the health center span a wide range of responsibilities. You will meet and consult with patients of all ages and situations. The work is varied and independent; during your time with us, you will primarily be responsible for acute reception work, but likely also planned visits as time goes on.

About you

You have a medical degree and are waiting for your residency placement; you do not yet have a medical license. You have an interest in primary care and are qualified to work in Swedish healthcare and possess language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.

We are looking for someone who is attentive and has a good demeanor, as you will meet many different patients at the health center. You enjoy teamwork, and for you, it is self-evident to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in your work.

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.

The position is a 6-month temporary contract, with the possibility of extension.

For those who have trained as doctors abroad and have not completed residency in Sweden to obtain a medical license, the new regulations regarding Basic Service (Bastjänstgöring) from July 1, 2021, apply. Basic Service for doctors (BT) is a mandatory introductory part of the specialization training in the new regulation ST-2021 (HSLF-FS 2021:8). This means you need to complete BT before or as an introductory part of your ST.
