ABOUT THE POSITION
AFRY is a global consulting company driving the development towards a more sustainable future.
The team within risk management and CE marking in machine safety at Afry wants to expand with a new team member. Whether you are junior or senior, there is a place for you. Afry assists industrial clients, from large investments to individual product developers, in meeting national and international safety requirements. The technical areas vary, including machine and process safety, pressure equipment, ATEX, and safety systems.
The market demand is increasing, and at Afry, you will receive guidance from experienced colleagues. The role offers a varied and developing everyday life where you take overall responsibility for driving and leading assignments, building strong customer relationships through meetings and dialogue, as well as interpreting and implementing regulations, laws, directives, and standards in practice. You will work with modern digital tools and have the opportunity to contribute to some of the industry's most innovative and exciting projects.
As a CE consultant in machine safety, you will have a varied and developing role where you will be close to both technology and industry. Depending on your background, you could work on guiding clients in all matters related to machine safety and compliance, conducting appreciated training in risk assessment, CE marking, and documentation, or delve into practical analysis work such as machine risk assessments and the development of technical manufacturing documentation. You may also be responsible for the CE marking of individual machines as well as entire production lines. In larger projects, you will become a key person who develops machine safety plans, identifies relevant regulations and standards, conducts design and interface analyses, and coordinates documentation for both CE marking and commissioning.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has a completed engineering degree, for example, in technical physics, industrial economics, or equivalent work experience that we assess as relevant for the position
- Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as both languages are used in daily work
- Has an interest and drive to work with safety issues
- Holds a B driver's license
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience from the industrial, manufacturing, or process industry
- Previous experience working in safety and working environment
- Live in/have ties to Skellefteå, Piteå, or Luleå
