Your role

As an investment controller, you will have a central role in LKAB's investment work, focusing on larger facility projects. You will work closely with the project organization throughout the project flow, from planning to follow-up, and act as an important partner driving the economic processes forward. Through in-depth analyses and quality assurance, you will provide valuable support to project managers and project leaders.

You will be part of a small and cohesive controller group of four people, with a particular focus on supporting the Kiruna area. Your mission involves being a qualified support in planning, prioritization, decision-making, and follow-up. The projects follow clear timelines, and your role is to ensure that financial management is effective and accurate throughout the project's lifecycle.

Examples of tasks:

• Responsible for preparing budgets, calculations, forecasts, and operational planning for projects and programs
• Follow up on financial outcomes through analysis of key figures and lead the work with status reporting
• Prepare investment calculations and conduct financial reviews of decision-making documents and larger contracts
• Drive the development and improvement of processes related to financial and operational management
• Be responsible for ongoing reporting and process improvements in close collaboration with risk and internal control
• Manage fixed assets within projects/programs – activation, inventory, and decommissioning

You will work closely with the project organization in Kiruna and be an important support in their daily and long-term work. The position can be based in Kiruna, Malmberget, or Luleå. If you are stationed in a location other than Kiruna, travel will be a natural and regular part of the role.

What you bring with you

You have the ability to understand details while also lifting your gaze to see the big picture, which is crucial in a role that spans the entire project flow.

You are structured and meticulous, but also flexible and solution-oriented when conditions change. You are used to working against deadlines and are driven by delivering results that make a difference.

The role requires you to convert complex data into clear messages so that financial information becomes a valuable support for decision-making and development.

In addition, you need:

• A degree in economics, such as a business economist or industrial economics, but other educational backgrounds may also be relevant
• Experience in qualified controller work
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
• A valid driver's license is a requirement for all positions at LKAB
