The Community Building Leisure and Culture Administration consists of the strategic department, property department, building permit department, street/park operations department, meal service, cleaning service, and leisure and culture. We are about 170 employees who prepare and plan so that the municipality's vision can be realized.

Our mission is to plan, build, develop, and manage a sustainable and well-functioning community, as well as to create a broad range of leisure and cultural offerings for everyone.

The position is located in the Park Unit.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a seasonal worker in our team, you will work for our residents and contribute to a clean and tidy municipality.

Common tasks for the season include waste management, weeding, pruning, lawn mowing, and planting. The work can sometimes be physically demanding and requires good physical fitness.

QUALIFICATIONS

Now we want to tell you about yourself:

You are a practical person who enjoys working outdoors. You have a relevant education in green space management, at least a 1-year degree, combined with several years of experience in park work.

You should have training or qualifications in the following:

• Brush cutter certificate (RA)
• Chainsaw certificate A and B (E is an asset)
• Driving license B (BE license or extended B license is an asset)

We would also like you to have experience operating green space machinery and hand tools, such as riding lawn mowers, mini-loaders, trimmers, and brush cutters.

In addition, we want you to be responsible, flexible, have good service skills and demeanor, and possess good collaboration abilities. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
