About Familjens Hus

Familjens Hus is a meeting place for children, parents, and educators in Piteå municipality. Here we work with preschool activities and Open Preschool in close collaboration with various actors in the family center. Our vision is to create a safe and stimulating environment where children can grow and develop based on their own conditions, while also providing support and community for parents.

Job Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher with us, you will:

• Plan, implement, and follow up on teaching according to the preschool curriculum.
• Lead singing sessions, rhythm activities, and other educational activities.
• Work independently and take your own initiatives in the operations.
• Participate in and develop Open Preschool, where you meet parents and create a welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, guardians, and other professionals within Familjens Hus.
• Contribute to the development of the operations through pedagogical documentation and reflection.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a teaching qualification as a preschool teacher.
• Can work Mondays, Tuesdays, and every other Wednesday.
• Is creative and has a knack for taking initiatives.
• Is self-sufficient and comfortable working independently.
• Has an interest in parent support and engaging with parents in everyday life.
• Preferably has knowledge of ABC – All Children in Focus.
• Has basic baking skills.
• Is social and has a good demeanor.
• Has an interest in developing and contributing to the ongoing development of the operations.

Meritorious:

• Experience working in preschool with a focus on language development and digital tools.
• Knowledge of working in multicultural environments.
