Your position as a facility technician is part of the Housing Service department, Uppsalahem's internal specialist department, which serves tenants when something goes wrong and handles operational issues and maintenance. As a facility technician at Uppsalahem, you have expert knowledge of the company's facilities and work proactively with the maintenance of heating and ventilation. Sustainability is a key issue at Uppsalahem, and we invest heavily in new environmental and energy technologies. For example, we have one of the largest solar facades for multi-family houses in the Nordic countries.

Your main tasks:

• Investigate deviations in energy and water consumption

• Be responsible for troubleshooting and repairs during alarms

• Maintenance and optimization of heating and ventilation installations

• Be responsible for identifying energy and water-saving measures in one of Uppsalahem's areas

• Perform service and monitor the operation of our installations

• Be involved in and also be able to drive smaller projects

• Be responsible for control and technical work in our properties

We are looking for someone who has:

• A burning interest in energy issues

• A post-secondary education in facility management from a vocational school or university

• Several years of work experience in facility management and property technical systems

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• A valid driver's license (B)

The role suits you if you are structured, responsible, and have a problem-solving approach to work. You enjoy working independently but also like to collaborate with colleagues when needed. Since the role involves contact with our tenants, we also see that you are good at communicating, empathetic, and show great commitment to your work.

Housing Service is a partially renovated office with an open office landscape, meeting rooms, and a shared lunchroom. As a Facility Technician, you will have your own office space at the office.
