Community Guide

We are looking for someone who wants to help us answer the questions of community residents, who enjoys assisting, solving issues via phone, in person, and digitally, and who has a sense of good service.

The Community Guide adopts an outside-in perspective, meaning the customer's perspective. It is important to have an inclusive approach and to stand for the values of diversity.

Responsibilities

• Information, guidance, answers to questions in matters
• Registration, additions to, and processing of cases
• Assessment, sorting, and referral to the appropriate municipal function in other matters

Qualifications

As a Community Guide, a positive customer approach, attentiveness, and solution focus are fundamental qualities needed in every meeting. Some customer meetings may require a higher level of security awareness and methodology. Personal suitability is of great importance.

In the role of Community Guide, a range of abilities and qualities are required:

• Experience working in contact centers/service centers/call centers is an advantage
• Very good technical ability, speed, and experience working in multiple technical environments simultaneously are mandatory (e.g., Trio, Easit, Pro Capita, InfraControl, Open E-platform)
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form is mandatory
• Multilingualism is an advantage. We welcome applicants with Arabic, Tigrinya, Finnish, or South Sámi language skills

The position is a specific fixed-term employment from April 1, 2026, to September 31, 2026.

In the consulting and service administration, we provide support and service to the administrations in our areas of property, operations and service, food, IT, and administrative support services.

We also welcome language skills in Finnish and/or any of the Sámi varieties as Örnsköldsvik municipality is part of both Finnish and Sámi administrative areas.
