The Digitalization IT and MT Department provides support and services to the healthcare sector in Skåne. The department's mission is to implement a modern and cohesive digital healthcare environment while managing and effectively consolidating the existing IT environment. The mission includes management and support of existing and upcoming systems. Medical technology (MT) also works with service, maintenance, procurement, and in-house manufacturing of medical technology equipment.

Infrastructure and Security is one of five operational areas within the department and consists of five units: Digital Workplace, Data Center, Data Communication and Telephony, and IT Security. The roles in these units include unit managers, system managers, system specialists, and delivery managers, among others, who are responsible for delivering processes, daily operations, and developing existing services. Our Digital Workplace unit delivers IT services, products, and support to all employees in Region Skåne.

We operate from our premises at Medicon Village in Lund, although remote work has become a natural part of our everyday life.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As the system manager for the IT workplace, your main task is to be responsible for the service area of the IT workplace. You are responsible for the functionality, availability, support, and associated budget of the IT service. Furthermore, you ensure the quality, further development, and business benefit of the service, ensuring that it continuously meets agreed business needs and creates value according to agreed service levels.

You will work closely with operational representatives within Region Skåne's organization. Together with IT architects and the business, ongoing adjustments to the service you are responsible for will be made. Your tasks also include developing the service and the business in collaboration with operational staff and external suppliers within given financial frameworks and agreements. Additionally, monitoring the external environment is a natural part of your work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with an academic education in a relevant field or other training and experience deemed equivalent by the employer. You have good general IT knowledge and are proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Additionally, you have extensive experience in a role as service manager/service owner, delivery manager, product owner, or project manager within an IT organization. Furthermore, you have experience working with hardware as a service, including lifecycle management. You are accustomed to complex ordering structures and have experience managing various stakeholders within IT and the business.

It is advantageous to have a certification at the ITIL3/4 foundation level or higher. Experience managing hardware in extensive IT environments, as well as competence in budgeting and financial monitoring, is also advantageous. Experience in contract interpretation and monitoring outsourced service deliveries is also a plus.
