Senior Systems Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join us at Etteplan, who will deliver and support critical software solutions to customers in the defense industry.

Your Role

As a systems engineer with us, you will work closely with our clients across a range of industries. You will have the opportunity to work on projects from concept to final implementation, including feasibility studies, technical proposal documents, process development, system and detailed planning. Projects may involve new installations, optimizations, or modifications of existing systems.

You will play a key role in the development of our mechanical systems. You will:

• Lead and participate in the design, development, and implementation of complex systems.
• Analyze and solve technical problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects meet customer requirements and timelines.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement of processes and methods.

Your Profile

We are looking for an engaged and solution-oriented person who enjoys taking responsibility and driving projects forward. You have a genuine interest in production technology and keep yourself updated on the latest trends in the field. You will play a key role in the development of the business area going forward, so it is important that you also have a large network and can contribute to the sales of both projects and consultants. Collaborating and finding innovative solutions together with others comes naturally to you.

To meet our customers' needs, you need to have:

• A Master's degree or higher in mechanical engineering, systems development, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in systems development and mechanical engineering.
• Experience working with CAD software and other technical tools.
• Fluent Swedish and English in both spoken and written form.
• A valid driver's license (B).
• A strong understanding of system architecture and design principles.

This position may require you to undergo a security clearance based on applicable security protection regulations. For positions requiring security classification, additional requirements for Swedish citizenship apply.
