Social Services

The Social Services are responsible for interventions, support, and services to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Services Act, and we implement interventions regulated by these laws. All operations are centered around the individual to meet their needs. The mission involves a strong customer focus and service spirit.

Joint personnel and schedule supply consists of three units; Scheduling and Planning, Substitute and Recruitment, and Resources and Administration, which are responsible for providing support to most of the Social Services.

JOB DUTIES

With us in LSS and social psychiatry as well as Elderly Care, you will work to make a difference and help people in their daily lives.

Here you can work in special housing, home care, service housing, group housing, personal assistance, short-term stays for children and youth, daily activities, respite care, and escort services. Where you can work depends on your competence and the needs of the operation.

You will support and help users/customers/tenants. Tasks may include household chores, cooking, personal care, verbal support, medication management, documentation, and social activities, etc.

We are looking for someone who can work on a schedule during June, July, and August and who can work days, evenings, weekends, and/or nights. We prefer that you can work all months.

At the interview, you will need to present a passport/national ID card (a driver's license is not a valid form of identification) and possibly a work permit.

A criminal record check may be obtained.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Wants a fun and meaningful summer job with varied tasks
• Is at least 18 years old
• Can express themselves well in both spoken and written Swedish
• Is flexible and adaptable
• Is calm and secure in themselves
• Takes initiative, responsibility, and can follow a structure
• Can work on a schedule between June and August
• For us, it is important to have a good and respectful attitude towards both colleagues and users/customers/tenants.

We consider it an advantage if you have good computer skills and experience in documentation, can cycle, have a driver's license B, and access to your own car, as well as relevant completed or ongoing education or previous experience.
