Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, your main responsibilities include psychiatric assessments, follow-up of patients with ongoing medication, and adjustment of treatment as needed.

The job also includes telephone counseling for children/youth and their parents. The work requires close collaboration with doctors as well as with other team members. We maintain close contact with healthcare neighbors, schools, and social services.

Working hours: daytime, Monday - Friday.

About the workplace

Within Child and Adolescent Psychiatry's outpatient care in Kungsbacka, nurses, doctors, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, medical secretaries, and department heads work closely together. The clinic has a total of 52 employees. We are an outpatient clinic aimed at possessing broad and deep competence in relation to our patient group, which consists of children and adolescents up to and including 17 years with moderate to severe psychiatric issues.

We are now expanding our team with new employees. The work is varied and stimulating, and you will have the opportunity to develop in your profession in collaboration with the knowledge and experience of other professions.

In January 2024, the clinic moved into new premises with better accessibility for both patients and staff. The new clinic is located about a 8-minute walk from Hede Train Station.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse. Experience working with children/youth and parents is an advantage. As a person, we see that you have a good approach towards the patient groups and their relatives and always have the patient's best interests in focus. Since we work in a team-based manner, it is important that your ability to collaborate is good, while you also have the ability to structure your work independently.
