Your Responsibilities

Do you want to help develop our unit for nurses within health and medical care in Halmstad municipality?

As a nursing student, you will be placed within home healthcare where you will work closely with nurses and perform tasks within the HSL area.

Examples of tasks include sampling, insulin administration, and wound dressing. In addition to practical tasks, you will be responsible for documenting events related to the patient and maintaining contact with relatives and other professionals in the care team. You will meet the Home Care Administration's patients both in regular and special housing.

As an employee within the Home Care Administration in Halmstad municipality, you will have a basic placement in one unit, but we would like you to have an open mind and be able to work in other units as needed. You will be offered introductory days with an overview of systems and routines as well as lectures on palliative care and wound care.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant or a nursing student with at least four completed semesters. You are a responsible person with a good ability to plan and organize your work. You have full delegation ability and experience in taking all delegations from licensed personnel.

The work involves documentation in our digital systems, which requires good computer skills and strong communication skills. You need to express yourself well in Swedish when communicating with colleagues, patients, and relatives.

A driving license (B) is a requirement.
