Our inspiration is rooted in the culinary culture of Västgötaslätten and follows the pantry that the seasons have to offer. Your workdays are varied as we offer lunch and dinner every day of the week. In the house, you will find several unique restaurants with different focuses – all with the same emphasis on quality & service.
We are now looking for a passionate and experienced Sous Chef who wants to be part of our team at Billingehus. If you are passionate about cooking, service, and constantly striving to improve – then this could be the right opportunity for you!
What Does It Involve?
- You thrive in a fast-paced work shift and enjoy keeping the pace up, without compromising on taste or presentation.
- You have a strong interest in developing and improving, both as a chef and a leader.
- You enjoy varied working hours and love being in service, stepping in where it happens.
- You manage daily operations with the right person in the right place and have overall responsibility for meeting set quality and cost goals.
- When the head chef is absent, you take overall responsibility for the entire kitchen operation (e.g., during vacations, illness, or other absences).

Requirements for the Position:
At least 5 years of experience as a chef, including at least 2 years as a sous chef in a restaurant of equivalent quality or similar size. You have a strong commitment to presentation & taste, and are a natural leader in the kitchen. You also have a driver's license and references that can verify your work experience. We place great emphasis on your personal suitability and attitude.
