Stenungsund municipality is an expanding coastal municipality with approximately 28,030 inhabitants, a strong business community, residential areas close to the sea, and good communication opportunities. The municipality is organized into an administration with four sectors. The Support Functions sector includes finance, personnel, administration, communication, property, cleaning, and meals. The mission of the support functions is to facilitate and streamline operations.

Service Function - a gateway for the municipality's operations

The Service Function, with approximately 140 employees, is tasked with providing the best possible service to the municipality's administration and operations based on needs, demand, and requests. We actively work to increase our dialogue and meet the needs and requests of the operations. The function includes meals and cleaning. The service mainly consists of providing the municipality's meals within preschools, schools, and care, as well as cleaning in the municipality's premises.

The Meal Function is responsible for the preparation, transport, and serving of meals to elderly care, special accommodations, preschools, after-school programs, primary schools, and high schools.

This position is within the Service Function - meals in Stenungsund municipality, currently located at Tallåsen's kitchen.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities as a chef include preparing food from scratch with a focus on traditional Swedish home cooking and bread baking. Work according to a good structure, logistics, and economic awareness. Follow self-control programs for safety and quality in production.

We are looking for YOU who want to work as a chef in the production kitchen at Tallåsen, which daily prepares two hot meals for approximately 200 residents in elderly care. As a chef, you are responsible for the preparation, cooking, and delivery of high-quality dishes. We strive to produce as much as possible from scratch. We want to contribute to reducing environmental impact and therefore strive for a sustainable working method.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with weekend duties, which means a rotating schedule every day of the year. The working rate is 100% (38.5 hours per week).

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a chef's education and at least 6 years of experience in the profession. You have experience in preparing texture-adapted food.

You can express yourself well in speech and writing. Good computer skills are a requirement. A B driver's license is required.

It is an advantage if you have experience working in a large kitchen focused on special accommodations.
