The City Service Administration has an important and exciting mission to deliver, coordinate, and develop services for residents and administrations in the city of Mölndal. The administration has about 550 employees and is organized into four operational areas: meals and cleaning, water and recycling, city maintenance, and support and customer service.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Are you a chef with solid experience and a great commitment who wants to make a difference? We are now looking for a chef to join our team at Fässberg Care and Nursing Home.
Your work will involve preparing nutritious, safe, and delicious meals of high quality. You should have knowledge of the Swedish Food Agency's guidelines. It is desirable if you have good knowledge of food allergies. You and your colleagues work to develop and improve the dining experience daily. Being attentive and having a service-oriented approach towards colleagues and customers is a given for you.
In addition to traditional cooking, your responsibilities will include:
- Purchasing via Proceedo, which is the city's ordering program.
- Maintaining good structure and logistics in your daily work.
- Following the HACCP program that ensures the quality of our production.
- Participating in the development of new menus.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a 3-year chef education or another equivalent education assessed by the employer. Experience working in large kitchens focused on elderly care is an advantage. Good computer skills are a requirement. Familiarity with special diets and texture-modified diets is also an advantage.
We expect that you have a strong interest in cooking good food and want to develop within the profession. You are cheerful, social, and enjoy working in a team. You should be engaged, creative, service-oriented, and see opportunities, not obstacles. Having good collaboration skills with customers, guests, and colleagues is essential for the operation.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
