ABOUT THE POSITION

Can you upgrade an ArcGIS Enterprise environment with one hand tied behind your back? Can you work magic with FME and make your Elasticsearch cluster outperform? Do you want to hone your skills in meaningful work alongside experienced colleagues in military intelligence?

We are looking for someone with strong technical skills in databases, but above all, the ability to administer ESRI products. The work also involves gathering and processing geographic information from various sources, as well as developing automated processes for generating reports and structured data files from database information. The role is broad, and depending on your profile, you may also provide technical support to the intelligence gathering operations or develop and make available tools for processing larger datasets. Since continuous professional development is a requirement for the position, you must be driven to learn new skills.

We are now seeking employees for technical support within the defense intelligence area.

You should have experience and strong competence in:

  • Installation and administration of ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise.

Other competencies are also meritorious:

  • Competence in other GIS-related products, such as MapTiler and QGIS.
  • Feature Manipulation Engine, FME
  • Programming, preferably Python.
  • Use of databases, such as Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Neo4j.
  • System administration in Windows.
  • Administration of computer networks.
  • Experience with Linux usage.

Other requirements you must meet:

  • A degree in data or systems science or equivalent education or work experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
  • Good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • It is an absolute requirement that you are a Swedish citizen.
