The Radiology Clinic MSE-KSK operates at both Mälarsjukhuset in Eskilstuna and Kullbergska Hospital in Katrineholm. We are 140 colleagues working together in pleasant facilities, and a new emergency radiology unit is being built at the hospital, set to be completed in 2026.

About us

The Radiology Clinic is a medium-sized clinic that offers both breadth and specialization. We work with close and coaching leadership that promotes development for you as an individual. The clinic consists of two hospitals that collaborate; you will have a base station at one of the hospitals, but there is also flexibility in that regard. The region promotes development and welcomes your desire to grow, whether within a specific modality or type of examination, or in leadership if that is your interest. In this role, you will work closely with doctors, radiology nurses, students, and other nursing assistants.

The clinic offers conventional radiology, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and ultrasound. We also perform a variety of treatments such as balloon dilation and stenting of pelvic and leg vessels for the entire county at our new state-of-the-art intervention lab. We are also responsible for screening mammography and clinical breast diagnostics in Sömland. The equipment is modern with digital imaging and referral information.

Your tasks

At Mälarsjukhuset, you will work with conventional radiology, CT, ultrasound, intervention (peripheral angio), and MRI. The work includes evening, night, and weekend shifts. We apply reduced working hours for over 20% night work. We have significant ongoing development work and are now facing new exciting challenges.

Your qualifications

As a person, you are self-driven, flexible, have good collaboration skills, and possess a high level of personal maturity. You have at least one year of experience working in acute situations. Since the work largely involves communication, we require you to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Experience in radiology is an advantage. We place great importance on personal qualities.

You have an approved education as a nursing assistant. In addition to your grades as a nursing assistant, you need a certificate of your professional qualification as a nursing assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate proving that you were permanently employed as a nursing assistant from July 1, 2023.
