Nurses summer vacancies 2026, Light Care Ambulance Region Örebro County

In the light care ambulance, you work with planned transfers between healthcare facilities. The patients have certain care needs but do not require emergency medical care. In your role as a nurse, you are responsible for monitoring the patient's condition during transport, ensuring that each transport is carried out safely and securely between healthcare facilities and other care locations. The transports can be long, so we are looking for someone who enjoys driving and feels secure behind the wheel. You always work together with a colleague and are part of a supportive team where we value collaboration and respect.

We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse or is expected to be licensed by summer. As a person, you are flexible, responsible, and have good collaboration skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Experience as a nurse is an advantage.

A B driver's license is a requirement as well as swimming ability of 200 m and a passing result on the physical test that all applicants must undergo. Read more and watch the film via the link below.

Selection and interviews will take place continuously.

Test days will be conducted: 24/11, 27/11, 11/12, 18/12, 9/1, and 22/1.

The day includes an interview, physical test, and driving test. The day will take place in Örebro, Karlskoga, or Lindesberg and will take about 3 hours.

Start date: By agreement. Mandatory training days will start already in the spring. Attendance on these days is a requirement for employment. During training days and onboarding sessions, a temporary employment will be offered.

The application should include a CV and a cover letter. Certificates, grades, diplomas, etc. should be submitted at a possible interview.
